SOUNDSORBER FOAMS
        Acoustic Absorbers

Soundsorber® foams are acoustic-grade polyether polyurethane foams with a variety of different facings.  These foams are designed to obtain maximum sound absorption per given thickness through the uniform cell structure of the polyurethane foam.

The different facings available include: Soundsorber Foam with Textile Facing, Perforated Vinyl Facing, Aluminium Film, Metalised Film, and Polyurethane Film.  Some applications include acoustic ceiling baffles, office equipment enclosures, generator enclosures, compressors, engine compartments, bus, truck and underbonnet insulations and marine engine compartments.

SOUNDSORBER BARRIER
        Sound Absorption Material

Applications like compressor, generator or plant rooms, mobile machinery cabins and marine craft engine rooms all need the Soundsorber Barrier® treatment to ensure the well-being of those in the enclosed area, as well as those outside of it.

Soundsorber Barrier® is a composite product comprised of two layers of acoustic foam (Soundsorber®) and a single flexible barrier.  This composite is designed to provide maximum noise reduction in the hardest environment.  The isolation foam (6mm thick) decouples the flexible barrier from the substrate while the thicker absorbing foam reduces the airborne noise.

Soudbarrier Mat is designed to achieve maximum attenuation over a broad frequency range.  The combination of dense, flexible load vinyl barrier with foam provides a total noise control system.  This product range offers a variety of facings that can be applied to the surface of the barrier to increase the durability and weatherability.  When Soundbarrier Mat is used in wet areas, as in marine or truck cab application, closed cell foams can be used.

Damping and Vibration Materials

The unique products in our damping material and vibration isolation range consist of: Soundpaint® SP500, a water based damping compound which complies with IMO 653.(16) and AS 1530.3(1999). Soundpad V2SC, a vibration damping sheet with a peel and stick layer which provides quick and easy installation.  Soundsteel® MPM fully damped noiseless steel, which has a viscos elastic layer that is perfect for use in enclosures and engine rooms. Soundpad SA27 AL, is a combination of both absorption and damping sheet, and Sylomer, vibration isolation for use in civil engineering machinery and marine applications.

All of these products have one common purpose - to reduce noise caused by annoying vibrations and reverberation.  They are used in many applications, including the marine industry - for use in boat hulls, bulkheads, engine rooms & flooring.

Other applications include car truck & bus underbodies, enclosure panels, metal deck roofs, heavy earth moving equipment, timber or metal floors, air conditioning units, automotive door, floor & heading panels, white goods, industry, sinks and generator enclosures.
